Reset my Windows 7 PC to factory settings WITHOUT CD

Hello,

I am trying to restore the use of an old PC running Windows 7.
Although it has no files and is almost empty of software, my C drive is filled to over 235 GB out of 238.
I have tried using software like EaseUS Partition Master but I can't even download the software!
I should mention that I have a second hard drive (D) that is completely empty at 332 GB.

So, unable to do much with my PC as it is, I decided to restore it to its factory state.
I have followed various guides and tried to reset the PC via the settings and also through safe mode but it is IMPOSSIBLE.

I consistently encounter the same window: "No restore point has been created on the system drive of your computer. To create a restore point, open System Protection."

I have indeed never created a restore point on my PC during its use.
However, now I want to restore it not to an old point but to its factory state, so I admit I don't understand the window that is preventing me.

My request is a bit long and I hope I have been clear enough anyway..

I would be VERY happy to receive some advice..
Thank you in advance!

Hello,
Check with the recovery console...
Restore your PC to its original (factory) state without CD/DVD

Thank you for your feedback, but the article doesn't help me at all.

Firstly, it is addressed to users of the Windows 10 version, while I am using Windows 7.
Furthermore, I am using an Asus computer, and the information provided is also not helpful; I keep returning to the issue of "last restored version."

You need to read the link in full...
Be careful with the link, as it involves restoring the computer to its original state (first startup after purchase...) using the Recovery console, which is not the same as the system restore feature present in Windows with restore points.

Hello
what is the brand of the PC?
Restoring to factory settings is done at startup via a recovery partition called " Recovery "
if it is indeed present on the disk

Hello,
Right-click on the C drive, properties, disk cleanup (temporary files, Windows update, etc...), you will gain many GB, strange that if the PC has no software, it is so full of storage space!
