Hello, I would like to reset my PC to factory settings but I only have access to the BIOS menu. I hope I placed my message in the right forum, as I don't have the Windows CD or the recovery CD. The PC is no longer under warranty and I wouldn't know how to buy one. Could someone please help me? I don't know much about computers, thank you.

Hello
Try this:
Restore from your hard drive at startup
To reinstall Windows and all pre-installed software and drivers:
1. Turn on your computer and press the Alt+F10 key on your keyboard during startup. The Packard
Bell Recovery Management program will open.
2. Click on Restore system from factory default.
Warning: If you proceed with the restoration, all files on your hard drive will be
deleted.
3. Click on Next to continue. The factory-loaded original content from your hard drive will be restored. This
will take a few minutes.
So from the very beginning of the startup and before the Windows logo appears, you press the Alt+F10 key at the same time, I think.

Hello.
Check that the recovery partition is indeed on your PC.
Right-click on Computer, manage, disk management.
You can try restoring from Windows by opening Packard Bell Recovery Management in all programs.-

Thank you for your response, but when I press Alt + F10 a beep sounds. I've even tried holding Alt and tapping F10, but it doesn't work.

Hello.
No access to the office or anything else
There is only one solution left, which is to reinstall from a DVD ISO of your
You need the exact version of your Windows and its structure to see if this ISO is still available. But you will also need the activation key because without it, you will only have a 3-day version.
This is just a suggestion . . . Bye
It's no use rushing; you have to leave on time . . . -
It seems that you no longer have access to the hard drive?
Maybe open the PC and extract the hard drive, then put it back in case of a loose connection...
