Hello,
I have a Fujitsu laptop with Windows 7.
I want to reset it to factory settings, but I can't remember the administrator password.
I only remember setting a password to log in to Windows.
So when I turn on the computer and press F8... it asks me for the password... and I can't get through...
Can you help me?
Thank you in advance!

So to start, can you tell me if you can enter the BIOS on startup?
It depends on the motherboard, the button changes, you need to tap F2 or the DEL key...
In the BIOS, you need to change one setting: boot order.
But first, you need to create a bootable USB drive or a bootable CD.
Can you tell me if you have another PC in order to retrieve an ISO, an application, and do the job?

Hello again,
It's not very pleasant to see that the topic is duplicated.

The story is becoming suspicious... a recovered PC, no administrator password, a BIOS with a password.
You need to ask the person who gave it to you. (if that's indeed the case)

Hello,
I’m sorry! But since I haven’t received a response from this side, I tried to put the question in another way... either factory reset or recover the administrator password... but actually it’s not even recovering the administrator password because yes, the computer was given to me and they provided the password since I can log into Windows... so I think that if I only have one session on Windows, I have the administrator right??? But I must have deleted something too much...
It’s just the administrator password.
When I try to install a program, the computer asks for permission for the following program to make changes to this computer...
Normally yes, you click yes and it’s good... except that now it asks me for an administrator password to click yes
Do you think I would give all the info about the PC here if it wasn’t a gifted PC????
Thank you if you would be willing to help me

no, it's different...
I can't paste the image!!!
I have the User Account Control frame where we should just click yes to accept installing a program, except that it’s asking for more, in the same frame the username and password are required before clicking yes!
I enter the code like for the Windows session and it tells me it's wrong!
I think I'm going to take it to a computer shop... it seems too complicated and I don't think I can do it...
what do you think?

luna2002, try the following since a repair will be expensive for your issue.
The problem is that the error message >"no access server is currently available ...."<
means that this PC recovery was on a network of PCs, like in companies, and the password requested is not the admin password of the PC itself, but of the network it was on.
So you should follow this:
http://www.vendee.fr/colleges-numeriques/fiche-authentification.pdf
But it's a bit long, so forget about this network story for now.
Move on to the following.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Follow these steps and see if you can do a factory reset. (since there’s no password anymore)
Not sure if this method is for your model, so we’ll see.
Restore your laptop's factory settings.
Using Recovery Partition
Step 1
Restart or turn on your Fujitsu laptop.
Press "F12" repeatedly when the Fujitsu logo appears on the screen to be redirected to the boot menu.
Step 2
Highlight "Recovery and Utility" using the arrow keys on the keyboard, then press "Enter".
A progress bar appears at the bottom of the screen as the computer loads the recovery files.
Once the files are loaded, the System Recovery Options window appears.
Step 3
Select a keyboard layout, then click "Next".
The Operating System dialog box appears.
Choose "Use recovery tools ...", then click "Next".
If prompted, type your administrator password, then press "OK".
(hopefully there won’t be one ;-) )
The System Recovery Options window will appear again.
Step 4
Select the "Recovery" tab, then click on "Restore Factory Image (only C: \ drive)".
The restoration process will begin, and the laptop will be restored to its original factory settings.
When the process is complete, the computer will automatically restart and start at the Windows setup screen.
Begin personalizing your copy of Windows.

Aside:
I allow myself to delete my message regarding the solution concerning the password.
I prefer that this solution be less visible, as it could also help ill-intentioned people.
The comments from MPMP10 and yourself related to the answer will be deleted at the same time, if that doesn't bother you...?
For "outside" readers, you will understand that some messages are missing from this discussion ;-)

No, it's not a problem for me on my side! On the contrary, because even if nobody knows who I am... it's still embarrassing for people to think that about me :(
For Windows, it's perfect... I've restored Windows to factory settings... I was able to set myself up as the administrator... it doesn't ask for any password anymore.
And now I am indeed the administrator... I didn't have an administrator before... I think the problem was there...
I really think I must have deleted something too much... and with the restoration, everything became normal...
Thank you*

Hello,
If you are hindered by a password to do anything in the BIOS, reinstalling Windows with an installation key will not change anything.
First, you need to find a Windows 7 ISO of the same version as your license key (probably OEM).
You may not be able to boot from it since your BIOS requires a password.
Then you will need to reinstall the drivers, Windows updates, programs, etc.
In my opinion, the situation is complicated and could lead to other problems.
A live CD has nothing to do with your issue; it's not used for what you intend to do.
------------------------
Your wish is to restore your PC to factory settings.
You need to use the partition for that which is on your PC.
You access it through the BIOS.
It asks you for a password and that's the problem.
So provide the exact model of your PC so that we can find a solution to remove this password or see if we can find it.
(a label under the PC should indicate the model)

It is from 04/2011.
I have a serial number DSCE001405
Product: LIFEBOOK E751
Part number: CP532501-01
FPC03421BL 2011-04
It normally logs into Windows with a username and a password that I know :)
I only have one session.
I manage to work normally with the computer, I went on the internet... except that when I try to install or uninstall a program, I can't anymore... it asks me for the administrator password... I think I deleted something I shouldn't have...
Because I was given this computer and I wanted to delete some stuff... and here we are!!! Stupid mistake!

Hello,
when I start, it says: repair the computer... I click... it starts loading files... and then... the same thing happens
it asks me for the administrator password...
I don't know about the recovery partition.
I think I'm going to take it to a computer shop... it seems too complicated and I don't think I'll be able to fix it...
what do you think?

To insert images, we will understand each other better:
https://www.commentcamarche.net/infos/25913-ccm-inserer-une-image-dans-une-discussion/
So it's not a BIOS password issue but only an administrator password issue.
This is just as complex ... Malekal in your other discussion gave you procedures to recover your administrator account.
You should reread and follow them.
Or
As indicated by nephtys88, check if you have the option for restoration
(hoping that the admin password is not required)

Hello,
If you do not wish to keep any data beforehand,
you just need to boot from an installation CD or USB stick.
During the operating system installation process, you will be able to delete all system partitions and reinstall your OS from scratch.
Keep us updated.

Try this to make the administrator account appear.
Click on the image to enlarge it.
And I note the command here, because it's important to respect spaces and other characters, so copy and paste it; it'll be more reliable: net user administrator /active:yes
Then you will log into the administrator session, and we'll see about granting more rights to the other session.

It's up to you to decide whether to continue or not.
If you're on the admin account, then it's all good; it will get unlocked.
Or we'll end up restoring to factory settings.
After all, we don't know you personally, so put yourself in our shoes; we might have doubts given the issues. We only help when we understand that it's just a simple password forgetfulness; otherwise, we tend to avoid it. It's not easy to always have the right idea from a distance.

And you can look at this provided by MPMP10 to understand the error message and our questions.

yes! I understand, but well ...
I'm letting it go!!!!
I'll bring it tomorrow.
But anyway, just know that you are doing a great job ...
Thank you!
I understand that it's not easy to help without understanding what's happening on the other side!
we don't always know how to explain ourselves!!!!
and even like that, you are always there ... to try :)
so keep it up ... "we" who, like me, don't understand a lot, we need you!
so I finish with a big BRAVO and a THANK YOU.

Yes, I can enter the startup BIOS with the F8 key, but after that, I can't proceed because it's asking for the administrator code.
Yes, I have another computer.
I read on another post that I needed to use a live CD... I downloaded it :) but now I can't continue because I don't know how to launch it.....
Thank you,
I look forward to your help....
