Messenger password

Hello,
I can no longer log into Messenger because I can't remember my password, so I used the "forgot password" feature to enter my new password. However, when I try to log in with my new password, it says the password is incorrect. Can you help me recover my account please?
P.S. It's a Messenger account without Facebook

Configuration: Android / Chrome 97.0.4692.70

    Yes:
    Since you are receiving the new FB password correctly:

    - it may be a reading/typing issue with the new password.
    - the fact that messenger is not actually connected to the internet at that moment.
    - the keyboard used may not be correct (EN instead of FR for example) and therefore it types something else.
    - you are waiting too long before using it.

    Test your password on another computer/mobile to see if the issue is on your end.
