Saving photos on Facebook Messenger

Hello, my friends and I have a discussion group on Facebook Messenger. However, every time one of them sends a photo, my phone automatically saves it. How do we disable this option?

Hello,
It's very simple, you open messenger and go to the settings in the top right and uncheck the photos option (6th option).

I don't see the "photo" option; my sixth option is: image search.

Between "app sounds" and "synchronized contact," you don't have anything?
And I don't see where "image search" is, which options did you go to?
