Hello, I'm trying to reinstall Windows using a USB stick, but when I launch the USB stick to run the Windows installation program, a lock icon appears with "Security Boot Fail" written on it. I have disabled Secure Boot in the BIOS but the problem persists, and in boot mode I only have UEFI, and I don't have a legacy option. I should note that I don't have any Windows operating system on the PC, and I'm looking to install Windows 10. Thank you for any suggestions you may have. I'm using an

Good evening,
This is really strange, even with secure boot, a Windows USB should start, how did you prepare the USB? When you make a change in the BIOS, do you save the settings with F10 before exiting?
Legacy is often referred to as CSM in most modern UEFI BIOS.
One more thing, are you really able to access the USB stick?
How do you manage to do that, have you set the boot order? Or are you using the boot menu?
Sometimes with certain boot menus, you need to make a setting in the BIOS beforehand for it to work, in reality, it all depends on the complexity of the BIOS itself, unfortunately, some are quite tricky.-
Good evening, thank you for the quick response. For the USB key, I used Rufus to format the USB key, and for the parameters in Rufus, I set: GPT partition scheme to UEFI.
I then created a bootable disk with the same software. I did all this because the USB key was not recognized in the boot menu at first, but after doing that, it was. Now the problem is that when I launch the USB key from the boot menu, a padlock appears with "Security Boot Fail" written on it, and as for saving with F10, yes, I did that. Thank you in advance, I really hope to find a solution before tomorrow.- I think according to this site that a BIOS password needs to be set.
