the Norton VPN automatically activates on my phone connected to Wi-Fi on my Freebox, but I can't activate it on a computer. If I connect at my neighbor's with his SFR box, the Norton VPN activates automatically. it's part of the Norton product, it’s an extra security
and I just took this subscription to use public wifi while traveling to, for example, perform banking operations.
It works on my phone, I would like it to work on my laptop.
Thank you in advance if anyone has encountered this problem and found a solution.

it's not very secure to send all your network traffic to a Norton ....
Your banking operations are already protected by TLS (https, the little padlock) in principle, like your messages on CCM and elsewhere by the way.
Practically all global traffic is under TLS today, half-assed VPNs are for the suckers.

They advocate using a VPN as well. Apparently, Norton VPN does not seem adequate to you.
