Hello
This error occurs only for certain files when I copy from one disk to another. I diagnosed the state of the disk (right-click, tools,...) and ran the Windows utility which indeed detected errors on the destination disk and corrected them.
While going through the copied files, I noticed that some are viewable and others are not... even though they came from the same SD card (transferred to the source USB disk).
The disk will probably end up in the trash, but I would like to know:
- what could be the cause (the error persists after the Windows repair)
- should a special command have been executed on this disk before using it?
- anything else???
Thank you for your help.

Hello
connect the disk
test the disk with CrystaldiskInfo
it's a software that allows the user to know the status of their hard drive.
The status must be blue, otherwise it's not a good sign.
give the result (color and status) or post a screenshot
You also have more detailed results on the number of damaged sectors and the percentage of failure of the HDD/SSD. Hard Disk Sentinel
