Hello,

I installed via DriverHub the latest driver for my AMD Radeon HD 5800 series graphics card and I had to install the latest driver because the old one was from 2016 and showed me this > "This device is working properly."

But when I install the latest version from December 2018 it says > "No driver is installed" or something like that and I did the driver installation through the device manager.

And when I try to update it (Dec 2018) my screen automatically switches to the "Microsoft basic display adapter"

So I can't switch to the 2018 version and I'm forced to stay on the 2016 version for now even though I have no issues and some games I frequently play run fine, it would be nice to have the latest version. Thank you.

Date of this driver: December 2018 https://ibb.co/rmRM7sQ

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 92.0.4515.159

Okay, but why when I launch Rainbow Six Siege for example does the game tell me to update my graphics drivers? It's a mini window that just opens to warn me.

It's strange then, and what is the purpose of the link you gave me?

The link is AMD's support, if there is a driver update that's where you can find it.

Just because the game detects that your driver is old, it doesn't know at all if there is a driver update for your graphics card.

The problem is that there's no driver for my graphics card.
