Hello,

Could someone help me find this driver?

On the Lexmak France website, there isn't even one for Windows 8!

Configuration: Acer laptop - Windows 10

      Hello billmaxime,

I had already visited these 2 pages...

The driver does not appear on the first page.

The second one, written in English, suggests (if I understood correctly) looking for a specific Windows 10 driver, but I need to first clearly understand (in French) the different options available...

I hope to find a driver to download, but I haven't found anything so far.

I don't have time to check the pages right now, but I'll do some research tonight or tomorrow morning

I'll send you a message to let you know if I've found the information you're looking for or not

PS: feel free to send me a message if I don't respond, so I don't forget to do the research

    Hi

Okay, is it checked by default in devices and printers?

    Example of my printer

Check in Windows Update if you have any updates for the printer

    Let me know what happens

    See you later

    Hi.

I don't have that printer at home, but I'll check tomorrow afternoon (while passing by the office) but I believe that's the one set as default ... and that's why there's a problem, since every time we want to print a document, we have to send it to the network printer "manually"

I'll get back to you tomorrow at the end of the day.

Thanks and have a great weekend,

    Good evening,

There is no driver installed, and the printer is not set as the default printer.

There is no driver installed, and the printer is not set as the default printer.

Check if you can "select" the default printer (right-click, set as default printer)

If so, then check for updates with Windows Update to see if there are any updates for the printer

If not, you will have to upgrade to a "superior" model

    Waiting for your reply

    I just took the test.

By clicking on the printer, I only get the DELETE option... :(

    re

    Yes, yes.

Unfortunately, I'm afraid the answer "is" in your reply...

Let me know if W10 "detected" the printer the first time you plugged it in

It has indeed been restored since the installation of Windows 10, but has never worked with this new laptop.

      no, nothing found!

This printer is 10 years old. We were supposed to replace it at the same time as the computer, but budget restrictions...
So we have to send the prints to the central office printer and go pick up the documents. We would have liked to take advantage of the fact that there are still 4 new cartridges left to print the "internal" documents here.

But if that's not possible, too bad!

Unfortunately, the age of the printer doesn't matter...

The problem is that the manufacturer (Lexmark) hasn't released a driver for W8/W8.1/W10 for this printer.

Moreover, W10 doesn't provide a "generic" driver for the printer.

Right now, I see no solution to help you; you're going to have to "invest" in another printer.

That said, don't "throw" your printer away, as you can still use it on a PC with W7.

Thank you for your answers and your help.

So we'll wait to see for a new one ... and suggest it to someone who still has W7 (good suggestion)

      Best regards

P.S. But I will keep the topic open ... just in case someone else has another possibility

sorry, but if there are no drivers, I don't see any other possibilities for this printer with W10

PS: I don't know what you use/expect from a printer, but check out this page to see printers compatible with W10
