TouchPad inactive on Thomson PC

Hello,
My touchpad is not working anymore and I have tried everything including the fn key and the pad key, but this message persists:
- << Synaptics ps/2 port touchpad: This device cannot start. (Code 10)
I would like to know how to resolve this issue and get my touchpad working again. Thank you in advance.

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 92.0.4515.131

    Hello
    The first thing to try is to reinstall the non-working device displaying code 10. ... Open the Device Manager in Windows. Right-click on the device showing the error code and select uninstall. Restart the computer so that Windows reinstalls the device.

      Unfortunately, I also performed this operation but without success.
      Is there anything else to try?

    Actually, I restarted the uninstallation of the device (touchpad) without forgetting to check the box (uninstall the driver) which I had forgotten to do the first time. Positive result after restarting. Thanks again.
