Hello,
I haven't been able to access my WordPress dashboard since this morning, and every time I try to log in with an admin account, I get the error 403 forbidden openresty.
I've done a lot of research, but nothing has worked. If you have any idea of what I can do, thank you for your help. I host with o2switch.

Hello,
This error can result from many things.
In order to help you, I would need some additional information.
Are you the main technical administrator of the site?
What is your level of computer skills on a scale of 10?
Do you have the same problem with other types of access besides the administrator access?
What is the URL of your site?
Have you installed any extensions or made significant configurations or developments on your site recently?
Generally, this type of error comes from an access level or configuration issue.
They are resolved either by correcting the access level or by contacting technical support (from the hosting provider or the technical person who created your site or an equivalent person).

Thank you, hello,
I thank you for your help.
You certainly have the solution to my problem.
So here it is, it is completely impossible for me to connect to an account, whether it is an administrator or a user.
I am an administrator of the site and quite a few people are too, I'd say 4 more besides me. And I am not the main administrator.
I rate my computer skills as 6/10.
There are no user accounts yet, so I wouldn't know if the problem is just for admins.

Yes, indeed, I made significant settings before facing this error. I also installed 3 additional extensions and 3 updates, not to mention my large number of extensions.
Thank you, I appreciate it. -
with pleasure,
There is a good chance that the problem comes from a configuration you changed yourself.
Your host's support will probably not cover this, unless you have extended support.
When do you have the error?
- Do you manage to display the WordPress login page and the error occurs afterwards or do you not reach the login page?
Then be very careful with this part and only do it if you feel comfortable with computers. If you’re not comfortable enough, I advise you to go through a developer.
I also recommend backing up your files so you don’t risk losing your site by making a wrong move.
For the next steps, since you have some basic knowledge in computers, I advise you to log in to your O2switch hosting admin interface.
Look for the section titled “File Manager.”
Then you need to access the WordPress files identified by “wp-XXX,” find the “wp-content” directory, and then the “plugins” directory.
You will find the list of extensions installed on your site. Look for the folders of those you recently installed and rename their folders by adding “old_” before the file name.
This procedure will force the deactivation of the extensions you added.
Then try to log in again.

Hello:
Thank you very much for your help. Everything is working well now. Even though I really don't know what solved the problem. What I did was, from my cPanel, I moved the updraftplus extension to the trash since it seemed to be the most talked about as the source of the error, then I tried to reconnect several times without success. I left it like that until this morning when I tried to reconnect again to see, and boom, everything went smoothly. I am able to connect and check everything as well as all the other admins. In short, I really didn't understand the problem. -
Hello,
Glad your issue is resolved.
If you need another backup tool, consider looking at the backups you can create from your hosting provider's Cpanel. You can then complement it with free solutions like migrateDB or Duplicator.
The extensions need to modify your configurations to work properly, and they may also be incompatible with your environment.
Regarding the delay, multiple factors could explain it, but your issue is resolved, so there's no need to investigate further.
Could you please mark the topic as "resolved/closed" and click the "thank you" button on the messages that will help?
This will enhance visibility for future individuals who may have a similar problem.
Best wishes
