Hello
How can I recover photos from Samsung Cloud?
I just spent an infinite amount of time trying to retrieve my photos from this damn Cloud where I never wanted any photos to be stored. Let's be clear, I refuse to have my data go to an unmanageable thing and I don't know what other personal and therefore confidential files. I never authorized that, so now I want to retrieve that and get rid of this thing once and for all.
That's all I want to do. I back up my data if I want, when I want, or where I want.
Thank you in advance

Hello,
Please keep your mood swings against Samsung to yourself. They have no place in this forum.
Backups in the Cloud, whatever it may be, are always done with the user's consent and you always have the option to interrupt them.
That being said, Samsung Cloud no longer exists and your data has normally been migrated to OneDrive. There were several warning messages before the migration took effect.
I don't know if the data stored on Samsung Cloud is still accessible.
You can find all the information regarding Samsung Cloud here:

What is well conceived is clearly stated,
And the words to say it come easily.

The Gallery is a photo management application on Samsung smartphones.
This means that the photos are not stored in the Gallery, but in folders on the smartphone. Gallery merely manages them.
I am surprised that you received a message inviting you to transfer your photos to Samsung Cloud, which no longer exists (replaced by OneDrive).
Normally, you should receive a message like this:
What usually happens is a synchronization. The photos are duplicated in the Cloud but remain on the smartphone.
Therefore, I advise you to ignore this message. Your photos are not at risk, and the Gallery app will continue to function.
The screenshot I sent you shows that I have not enabled synchronization with OneDrive. My photos are already synchronized in Google Photos. I do not need an additional backup.
I also recommend that you perform all updates on your smartphone.
