Hello,
I have just acquired Office 2019 and when I try to modify the options, the following message keeps appearing: "The location on the server for the preliminary files you entered for offline editing is not valid or you are not authorized to access it. Please specify a location on your local computer."
In "Options," "Save," the "Temporary File Location" box is empty and it is impossible to fill it in. If I click on "Learn more," the following message appears: "The administrator of your organization has disabled the required service to use this feature."
How can I resolve this issue that prevents any modifications to the options? Thank you for your responses.
Best regards.

Hello everyone,
You need to modify the registry -
right-click on the Start button, choose Run, and then type regedit to open the registry editor.
Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Common\Offline\Options
Right-click and choose New > String Value and type Location as the name. Right-click on it and choose Modify and add the path to your documents folder.
A big thank you for this valuable advice, found nowhere else but on your site!
