Hello,
For some time now, I have been having a password issue when launching Thunderbird.
Even though the passwords for my accounts are saved (I just checked again in Privacy and Security), TB systematically asks for the passwords of certain accounts. These are accounts that were created recently or accounts for which I changed the password a little while ago. The other accounts work normally.
This is very annoying and especially tedious because these are strong passwords that I have to retrieve from my Keepass, whereas TB is supposed to use those saved in its database.
Does anyone have a solution to propose to resolve this problem?
Configuration: Windows / Firefox 88.0

I’m answering myself.
For a reason I don't know (probably an unfortunate click), the password save selector was hidden.
While digging through the settings, I found signons.rememberSignons set to false. I changed it back to true. I thus regained the ability to save passwords and everything is back to normal.
What still surprises me is that the passwords were indeed saved in TB but were not taken into account for opening the accounts that had been modified since the parameter changed.

Thank you for sharing the solution you found; it may help others.
I will mark your topic as resolved.
I couldn’t do it myself because I used the wrong username when creating the topic. If you could switch it to my usual username, that would be perfect. If not, it's no big deal.
