4G Tethering, Are There Risks?

Hello everyone,

The question may have already been asked, but I haven't found any cases like mine.

I was at the train station, and a man asked me for a hotspot (because he had a new phone and no SIM card, fair enough).
So I agreed and gave him the password.

I'm using Xiaomi, and in the settings, my
security is WPA2-Personal.

The sharing lasted about thirty seconds because his train arrived. But I wonder if during that short period of time he could have sent malicious files to my device through my hotspot?
(Right after, I changed the name and the password)
Thank you for your responses.

Hello,
You mentioned... "I was on the train platform and a man asked me for a hotspot connection (because he had a new phone and no SIM card, whatever).
So I accepted and gave him the password.
Big mistake. Never trust a stranger. You'd better change your security password quickly or it's an open door for everyone!

Yes, I know well, I've once again been too nice. And I changed my password afterwards, so there's no risk that he sent me an invisible file/virus?
