Hello,

I built my own desktop computer. I therefore bought a Wi-Fi card: the TP-LINK TL-WN881ND. The card correctly recognizes all the Wi-Fi networks around my apartment (which come from the internet boxes). However, it cannot detect the hotspot from my iPhone...

My laptop perfectly detects the hotspot. So I don't think the problem is with my phone.

I am posting this topic after trying a lot of things: uninstalling my Wi-Fi card, reinstalling it, updating drivers, etc., but nothing works. The problem must lie elsewhere...

Thank you for your help.

Well, it works by checking "maximize compatibility" on iOS. This allows switching to 2.4GHz instead of the 5GHz from the new phones.

      OK,
so it works on 2.4 GHz ....
The TP-Link card you have doesn't seem to support 5 GHz.
