PC can no longer connect to mobile hotspot. Solved

Question

Hello,  My Asus PC spontaneously can no longer connect to the mobile hotspot of my Samsung G40 smartphone. The Wi-Fi connection is indeed activated on the PC. On the mobile hotspot settings page, it does not recognize my smartphone, the page is grayed out. However, in the Wi-Fi settings, the smartphone properties are well known in "Manage networks"! But it does not appear in the available Wi-Fi networks during the search mode. Network reset done with no success. The day before it worked, and the next morning it was impossible. Last Windows 10 update date was 04/26/21 (issue the next day) kbps 4023057 and on 04/16/21 kb5001330. With this info, could anyone please give me a solution? My situation does not allow for any other internet connection than my smartphone. No router Thank you for your insights. Have a good evening.   Configuration: Android / Chrome 87.0.4280.141

Hello, Yes, and I can't connect, However, on this backup tablet, the mobile hotspot works well with my smartphone.

Sorry, very busy and late responses. Yes, it's indeed 2.4. On the mobile hotspot page, grayed out and therefore unusable, it says in red: we cannot configure the mobile wireless hotspot because your computer does not have any Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or cellular data connection. Sharing my Internet connection with other devices: grayed out disabled.  The indicators below, network name, network password, display grayed out codes that do not correspond to my smartphone. The network bandwidth is indicated as available in gray. Are these indications normal? If the connection was established, shouldn't it display the phone's indications? Maybe I'm on the wrong track? ???? Thank you. Regards.

Good evening,  I invite you to reset your PC's network settings:  Go to Settings -> Network and Internet -> At the bottom Network reset -> And Reset now.  This will result in reinstalling all network adapters, and I hope it will resolve your issue.  -- Aquaran

Wait, Is the hotspot created on the PC or on the mobile? If the mobile is sharing its connection, you don't need to create a network on the PC, just connect to the network provided by the mobile.  -- and ... Here you go!
