Hello,
Here is my problem: I would like to connect to the internet on my HP computer via my new mobile phone. It works with the old one, so it should work with the new one. Since I don't have fiber or ADSL, I use my phone to connect to my computer, using it as a modem/router. When I go to network connections, my computer detects my phone correctly, so I click on it and then it shows a successful connection... the problem comes next! I can't browse the internet because when I go to "Network and Sharing Center" on the computer, it shows that the gateway between the PC and the phone is okay, but the phone to the internet gateway is not, there is a red cross indicating a problem.
What can I do to solve my problem?
Thank you

    Hi

What’s your mobile phone number? That's already the minimum to provide...

How do you connect the phone and the PC together?

How does your phone get internet?

Before asking a question: 1° Turn on your brain, your PC doesn’t think for you!
2° Google is your friend, the search engine on CCM is too, do a search!

      Hi Scarface,

I'm bringing you the requested information...
my computer is an HP dv7 running Vista and my phone is a YEZZ ANDY 5EI2 (Android)...
the connection is made via Wi-Fi and the computer detects it without any issues... I've also tried via USB but no better!
My phone works fine when I connect to the internet on it, I have an SFR plan with 5GB then reduced speed (no overage charges as tethering is allowed by the carrier)

You have internet through "Mobile Data," so not via WiFi on a hotspot.

And on the phone, you make sure to activate the "Mobile hotspot" to connect to it via WiFi or "USB Modem" if you're connecting with a USB cable??
