Hello,
I have an MKV file that contains 2 audio tracks and 2 subtitle tracks. By default, the English audio track is played, which is fine for me. However, the subtitles are in English, and I would like to have them in French. I have tried many modifications with MKVToolNix but I can't seem to figure it out. I am told that the first tracks are played without distinction, and MKVToolNix does correctly place the English tracks before the French ones. Do you know how I can change the order?
Thank you.

No, it's not the only method. I've found it!
First, we go to MKVToolNix GUI -> Preferences -> GUI and check "Show buttons for moving entries up/down".
Then we can reorder the tracks while keeping the less useful ones in the mkv. -

Try with "open shot video"
