Hello,
I have been using the transcription software "pmTrans" for some time, which is basically a window composed of a writing area and a progress bar, like VLC, that allows you to manage the audio simultaneously. It is possible with this software to save what has been written in a format that is readable later, the famous "xpmt" format.
However, after working on it for several days, the file containing my notes no longer opens in pmTrans. I check that my version is up to date, I run a test by writing/saving/opening a new save, it works. But it’s impossible to open the save that interests me. I restart my PC, no longer, I reinstall, nothing works; I also try replacing .xpmt with .txt, .odt, etc. Nothing works. I also tried to find a tool to edit this format, but nothing found.
I finally contacted the support service via Facebook (the last post dates from 2017).
My question: Does anyone have any idea how to recover these data?
Thank you in advance.
Configuration: Windows / Firefox 66.0
