Hello
My 3 email addresses have become inaccessible from Android and Windows 10 mail apps.
First one about 3 months ago, then the other 2 in the past few weeks. I contacted Aol who replied that they are not responsible for third-party email applications.
I can still access them from the Aol login page, but it's a hassle to have to log in every time and not getting notifications when an email arrives.
I tried deleting and recreating the accounts, clearing app caches but it doesn't work.
Does anyone have a suggestion?
Thank you for taking the time to read this ☺

I've finally found the solution!!!!
From the AOL interface, in each AOL account, you need to go to "account settings," "security," and in the dropdown menu at the bottom, there is "create an app password." In fact, AOL will generate a 16-character password. You need to choose which email app you want to use (], Mail for Windows...) You copy this password. Then, in the email app's account settings, you need to replace your usual password with the one you copied. (That's where I always got stuck!)
Repeat this for each account and on each device (computer, tablet, phone). Tedious, but it works!!!!!
I'm posting this before April 1st;))

Gmail also offers app passwords: Their use is not systematic, but it's the solution when things aren't working!
