Unable to retrieve my AOL mailbox

Hello,
My phone has not been able to access my email inbox for 15 days; it just shows an error.
So I tried to reconnect with my username and password, which I hadn't done in a long time since everything is saved in my phone settings. But after entering my username and password, it asks for a verification code sent to a phone number I no longer have access to, so I can't enter the code, and it doesn't offer any other options. I tried to change that phone number, but you first have to be logged into your account, which I can't do. I have sent 4 messages on the AOL help page, but I have received no replies... I don't know what to do to recover my emails... I’m not sure if it’s related to the fact that AOL merged, but it’s a huge hassle... Does anyone have any ideas?
