HELLO
PLEASE I need help; SINCE I installed windows 2000 sp3; some keys on my keyboard have changed the A HAS BECOME Q. AS WELL AS OTHER; I would like to fix that; also the internet language; it has become in English and I want all that in English.

Hello,
to change your Hotmail MSN from English to French, just click on options, then if you are on the classic version, you choose select language and select French, and in the full version, click on options, then more options, then select language!!!!

In Control Panel / Regional Options / Input Regional Settings, you select the input language option French...the keyboard should follow. You will find other interesting options there.

Salut, merci pour l'aide, mais je vois toujours que certaines lettres ont changé de place, comme le "a" qui est en haut du "q", le "m" qui est sur un autre bouton, et beaucoup de boutons ont changé.

you are simply set to the Qwerty (English) keyboard instead of the AZERTY (French) keyboard.

To change it, it's very simple:
you successively click on:

Start + Control Panel + Regional Options + Languages + Details

in the window that opens, you have the option to choose the keyboard you want.....
you just need to change from the English keyboard you currently have to the French keyboard....you will thus get the AZERTY keyboard with the letters in the position you are used to.

To change the language of Hotmail to French, you need to open your Hotmail inbox, then click on "options", then look for "Personalize your email", then click on site language, and that way you can choose your language.

I have a QWERTY keyboard but the letters work normally, meaning that the Q is really Q and the A as well, etc. However, the only problem is with the accents for e, i, or u, etc. I can't find them, just like the a with an accent; they are not present on the keyboard even though I need to write emails in both French and English as I am an assistant. To change the language of your Windows Live Messenger, you need to download the language file FR --> msgslang.9.0.1407.1107.dll and place it in the same folder as Messenger. Good luck.

Yes, to switch back to azerty, you need to press ALT + SHIFT. I had the same issue, but only when I was writing messages in my hotmail inbox. My keyboard was set to qwerty for my emails and azerty for everything else. Strange, strange... Anyway, I pressed ALT and SHIFT at the same time and the problem was fixed!
