Hello,

My boyfriend has a lot of outgoing calls on his Bouygues bill that come from his own phone number.
How is this possible?

Thank you for your answers....

In his Bouygues bill, there are a lot of calls made from his own phone number.

    Hi

    Yes and what’s surprising?

What’s surprising is that his number appears on his bill as the caller.

If it's HIS bill, it’s definitely his number as the caller.

I mean that in the calls he made, his number comes up very often, yet he doesn't have two phone lines or anything else...

      Good evening,
I’m sorry, I’m not sure if I’m being very clear...
For example, if I call my mother, her number will appear on my bill; in his bill, his own number appears regularly, so I don't understand...
      Thank you for your help.

      Hello,

It's like if he called himself with his own number, right?

And I think it sounds busy, so he often tries again hoping someone picks up? (that’s humor ; ) )

On the old telephone lines back in the dinosaur days, we could see numbers with very short calls that we had never dialed.

Check with Bouygues about this anomaly.

Thank you, the calls vary from 1 to 20 minutes... and several times a day...
      This story is really strange!

Oh but !! I think I have the solution :o

In a time with our old landlines, we had a call forwarding option.

So it redirects a call from one person trying to reach someone to another line where they can answer.

I remember that a friend called me at my home 20 kilometers away, and I received the call at my mother's place in the same village, so I told her:
"Hang up and come see me because I’m also paying right now! :D"

That's a lead. Maybe in his phone settings or in his contract, he has that option.
