The previous owner of my number

Solved

Hello,
I changed my phone number two days ago (it's the second time this year) hoping that this number hasn't had an owner before me. Unfortunately, that's not the case; I keep getting calls all day long from people thinking they are reaching the previous owner (some people called me today claiming that I called them four days ago and asked them to call me back). I contacted Bouygues, but they don't want to hear my "complaint" and are turning a deaf ear...
What can I do??? Change my number yet again? Throw my phone out the window?? If anyone has even an idea, I'd really appreciate it, thanks in advance!!????????

Hello, thank you!! But it won't change anything, it's the contacts of the previous owner of the number. Apparently, he was supposed to have it last Friday because someone sent me a message saying, "You told me to call you back; you called me on Friday." It's not a commercial issue; it's more of a landlord problem here...

See the third link...

After a while, they will stop calling over time since they are not reaching the right person.

At worst, check with another operator...

Good evening,

it happened to me on a landline when I retrieved a number that turned out to belong to a plumber who went bankrupt.

Aside from the official directories, the private ones, the municipal brochures..., those that are online, all of which are never updated, this went on for years, including at night.

More recently, on a mobile phone, I was poisoned dozens of times and for a rather long term by the same person while searching for another person who wasn’t me, but insisting that it had worked 15 days prior when I had this number for several years: now, that’s a typo combined with human stupidity, it’s more complicated.

PROBLEM SOLVED, I called Bouygues and they were excellent in helping me and even gave me the SFR number, I changed my plan and SFR confirmed to me that it would be a new number that has never been used!!! Thanks to everyone
