Hello,

For a week now, Google Chrome has been causing my computer (Dell G5 laptop / i7 9th gen / RTX 2070 / 16GB RAM) to crash automatically.

Since I purchased it in August, everything was working fine, but for the past week, I've been having this issue: when I launch Chrome, the PC crashes and gives me a blue screen. Most of the time I get the error code BAD_POOL_CALLER, but yesterday I also encountered Reference by pointer. I'm having this issue only with Chrome; when I use Firefox or other browsers, or when I play games or watch movies, everything is okay.

So I uninstalled/reinstalled Chrome, scanned with Adwcleaner, updated my graphics card, checked for Windows updates, and ran a memory check with Windows Memory Diagnostic (which says there are no errors).

I'm really lost and wondering what could be causing it to crash like this. Any tips? Thanks.

    Hello,
    Chrome crashes my PC

Afterwards, there have always been issues with this browser since it was created, but whatever...
As for me, I uninstalled it a long time ago and have had no more problems since then.

For my part, I believe what I see, and I see this "Chrome crashes my PC" and "I only have this problem with Chrome; when I use Firefox or other browsers, when I play or watch movies, everything is fine."
      Have a good weekend too.

Resetbrowser seems to have solved the problem, still strange though, but thank you!
