My PC no longer recognizes my wireless keyboard.

Hello,

I have a problem for a few days now. I am using a wireless mouse and keyboard from CORSAIR, model K57 for the keyboard.
There is a small USB dongle to plug in for wireless use, and it worked well for 2 months.
When it ran out of battery, I would plug it in and reinsert the small dongle once charged.

Then one day I charged it, and when I wanted to switch back to wireless, the PC no longer recognizes it.

I am using Windows 10.

I tried switching the ports with the mouse; the mouse works fine on both USB ports, but the keyboard is still not recognized.

Thank you in advance for your help, I should note that I am absolutely not tech-savvy, so please don’t use complicated jargon.

The USB receiver works for the mouse and keyboard, and if it's only the keyboard that's causing the problem, I don't think it's due to the USB.
Try uninstalling the KEYBOARD device and restart the PC so that the driver reinstalls upon rebooting the PC.
It might be a hardware conflict.
But the fact that the keyboard is new doesn't mean anything; it could be defective. I've already had this problem with a brand new HP keyboard that was used for 1 week and then stopped working.

I'm not sure how to uninstall the keyboard device, but I will look it up..
Thanks anyway, and yes, as you say, it could be a defect with the keyboard..
But it worked very well at first, I've charged it 4-5 times and when I plugged the PC back in, it recognized it right away, but not for about 2 weeks now..

Good evening,

I just had the exact same problem, this morning my keyboard was recognized, I unplugged the receiver to connect another USB device and when I wanted to use my K57 barely 30 minutes ago, my PC did not recognize it wirelessly.

For your information, I am on Windows 10, I uninstalled the drivers but that did not work, I checked if it was an issue with the USB port, unfortunately that is not the case since the rest of my peripherals are working, I also checked directly if a firmware update was available on iCUE but there wasn't any, and when I click "Start" next to "Pairing the wireless receiver," it asks me to make sure the wireless receiver is properly connected to my system.

I will try uninstalling and reinstalling iCUE to see if that makes any difference, but I have little hope, so if Chalice_9 managed to resolve their issue, I would like to know what you did, however if anyone else has the answer, I am open to hearing it too ^^.

Edit: Reinstalling iCUE did not work.
