Hello, I have been a victim of calls, emails, and even letters sent to my home. A certain bailiff, Vennin Vibert, is claiming a debt from SFR that dates back two years. However, the problem is that not long ago, I separated, and my ex-partner incurred some debts in my name. Under pressure, I paid 118 euros; the original amount was 236 euros, so I asked to pay in two installments. But now he is demanding 414.03 euros. What should I do? I’m thinking of ignoring it, but considering I’ve already paid 118, I hope I won’t have to pay the rest.

Hello
One-year prescription according to the CPCE L34-2.
However, giving a little something resets the limitation period to zero.
It's up to you to calculate whether the prescription applies or not, starting from the date of the last payment.
See you later
PS: This is only valid in the absence of a Judgment.
