Premiere Pro won't remove my green screen.

Hello,

I’m new to Premiere Pro and I’m trying to remove my green screen. I applied the UltraKey effect to the part where I wanted to remove the green background, then I go to select with the eyedropper, but it won’t pick the green background I’m selecting. It stays as it is and doesn’t go away.
Is there a setting that I might have overlooked when starting the program or importing the video?

      I have the same problem...

      @glandu YouTube tutorials explain the use of the "UltraKey" effect, but when it comes to a bug or a mistake, it would be better to explain that rather than taking a condescending tone; YouTube doesn't explain everything, especially in particular cases.

        I believe I was frank and modest by stating that I am unable to go step by step through the method to detect an error, especially since I do not use this software.

        I hoped that others could have responded.

        P.S. Premiere Pro is an advanced video editing software; it takes time to master. It is paired with a photo graphic software, which makes two programs to master to do this "chroma key."

        I have been using Pinnacle Studio since the early versions; I believe I can assist many members.

        Hello Maxime,

        I had the same issue as you, the eyedropper tool wasn't working, and it still isn't, however I managed to work around the problem, you need to do the following:

        1. First, you need to know the RGB color code of your green screen, you can use Photoshop for that.
        2. Once you have identified the color code of your green screen, follow the normal "UltraKey" procedure but instead of clicking on the eyedropper, click next to it (see 1 attached) and then enter the color code (see 2 attached).
        3. And there you go.

        However, we need to continue to investigate why this famous eyedropper doesn't automatically detect the color. If someone has found the answer, that would be great.

        PS: I'm using Adobe Premier Pro 2023
