Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro Bug After Update

Hello everyone, my girlfriend has a big problem with her Redmi Note 8 Pro. She just updated to version 12.0.3 if I'm not mistaken, and once restarted, no applications open, she no longer receives SMS or calls. I wanted to reset the phone, but even that is impossible...
Does anyone have a solution please?

Hello

On the MI site, everyone is complaining and so far there’s no viable solution. As for me, I never, ever do updates on the same day. I’ve had issues with other brands and therefore I always wait to see if the first users complain. You can try a hard reset, which will erase your internal memory, but I see that even that is not guaranteed. By the way, today I’m no longer being offered the update, and I see that Bart has also posted his question on the MI site.

Yes, for me it's impossible even to reset the phone. There's nothing to do, everything closes while telling me the system is not responding... And the apps don't even launch, it says to wait for the phone to restart completely. (I'm bringing the phone this afternoon to a friend who is in the field of telephony and computers to take a look).
On my side, I also have the phone but I'm not doing the update, I don't want to make the same mistake...
