Hello everyone,
I have had a Poco F2 Pro since around August, which was working perfectly until now.
Since yesterday, nothing happens when I plug in a cable to charge it or transfer files. The battery actually ran out very quickly that day: at the time the phone turned off, I usually had at least 30% battery left.
I let the phone "rest" overnight, and I plugged it in this morning. Everything was working perfectly again, and at 23% charge the phone suddenly didn't recognize anything again.
I tried several chargers and cables, including the one for the Switch that usually works, but nothing.
I managed to take various screenshots with Ampere, and the phone does detect when a USB-C to jack adapter is plugged in (see screenshot)
Screenshot while charging this morning
Current state screenshot (plugged in or not)
Adapter message screenshot
If anyone has an idea or a solution, I would be infinitely grateful, otherwise it will have to go to repair…

Hello
I'm having the exact same issue right now with this phone.
I just changed the charging connector but it didn't change anything.
Applying pressure on the corners only worked for a while....
Do you know what the customer service did?

Hello,
An idea... No, a solution... Maybe. Is your smartphone (Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro) still under warranty?
Where did you buy it?

Hi, the same problem happened for a while where you had to press, then just tap. In the end, nothing worked. Anyway, after opening it and trying to clean it as best as I could and checking the connection points on the board, nothing jumped out at me. I ordered a new charging connector. I'll see when it arrives.
PS: it's a kinder surprise to open, it's directly accessible.
Just be very careful as it's glass glued to the back. Make sure to heat it.

Resolved by inserting an internal connector.
