Update issue

Hello everyone,
my Canon MG5650 printer is asking for a firmware update.
I followed all the instructions only to end up with the message on the screen saying "update failed. consult the manual."
I don't have a manual and when I check online I can't find any explanation for my problem.
Can you please help me

    Hello,
    The "software" named Micrologic does not seem to be an application but rather firmware.

    Dear Panth33ra, thank you for your prompt response. Unfortunately, for reasons beyond my control, I could not make use of your solution. My problem is still present, but I will only be able to address it tomorrow, and I will keep you informed, of course.
