Hello,
My HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 series printer no longer accepts my non-official HP compatible cartridges that worked perfectly before.
I think this happened after an update. How can I uninstall this latest update?
Thank you for your response.

Alright, thanks for this clarification
I'm going to stop buying HP ... ;-( -
Hello.
There are two types of updates for printers: the drivers for Windows and the firmware, which is internal software of the printer. I think it’s the latter that is causing problems. To check if it's possible to downgrade, do this search on the internet:downgrade HP printer firmware.

Hi
What do you mean?
What are you doing? What's going on?
I really doubt that an update is the cause of it.-

I highly doubt that a firmware update is the cause
A firmware update took place on January 20, 2022. These updates to the printer's internal software are intended to bring improvements, but as I mentioned earlier, they also aim to block ink cartridges that are not HP-branded. Compatible cartridge manufacturers will adapt by producing cartridges compatible with this firmware, but in the meantime, your current cartridges will not work.
