Badge printer setup issue "Datacard CD800"

Hello,
I just got a Datacard CD800 printer. When it powers on, its LCD screen displays "Available CD800" and after a few seconds, it shows "Available D3.14.8-6". The problem is that in this mode, my badges do not print correctly with all my data (some areas are not printed). However, if I switch it to "Available CD800", everything prints perfectly. My main concern is how to maintain this configuration, so that it doesn't change if I need to do a batch print.

What does the user manual say?

At first glance, the indication D3.14.8-6 is the version of the printer's firmware

It should not affect the machine's operation, but the fact that it appears after a printout would suggest that the data the printer receives is not compliant.

Yes, I noticed afterwards that it was the firmware version displayed on the LCD, but strangely when I set it to CD800, the printing works fine and all the data (photos, name, etc.) is printed! Is it possible to change the firmware and have a simple version (CD800)?

No, I don't think so.. however, it would be good to check the driver update on the manufacturer's website according to the OS you have on your computer and how it communicates with the printer (USB or Ethernet).

Sorry, I would like to know if the resolution (300x300, 300x600 or other) in the Printer Preferences could be the cause of my problem?

Indeed, that could be the reason..

Make the comparison with a 300x300 image; if you send a 300x600 image, only half will print...

Do a test with the other resolution or check the size of the image you are printing.
