Paper tray issue

HELLO,
everything is closed on the HP OFFICEJET 5740 printer and there is paper, but the message says:
paper tray open. Close it to continue Touch white arrow for paper loading instructions
I don't know what to do to unblock it

Hello,
Check that you don't have a sheet of paper inserted too far into the paper tray.
Remove all the paper, turn off the printer.
Insert the paper without pushing it too hard.
Turn the printer back on.
Also, make sure there's no old paper stuck inside the rollers.
