Hello,
I have a KESU 1TB hard drive, I have used it twice on my Mac and had no issues. However, when I plug it in now, it lights up but doesn't show up on my Mac and eventually turns off.
I have already transferred data onto it, so I would like to at least recover that data.
Thank you for your help.
Configuration: Macintosh / Safari 14.0

Hello
If it is powered via the USB cable (no power cable), it is possible that the supplied current is insufficient.
Have you tried it on another machine?
Cheers

Hello,
I tried connecting it to another computer (other than MAC) and the same problem occurs, the light blinks, I can eject the USB port but I can't open it, it doesn't show up on the desktop. -
Hello
Do you have the ability to connect a dual cable to "improve" the power supply?
Can you hear the disk spinning (if it's not an SSD)?
See you later
