Nokia 3310 cannot find the network

Hello,
I'm calling on your ideas.
I have an old unlocked Nokia 3310, and a working SIM card (from Free).
It recognizes the SIM card, but it doesn't find any network.
I checked with another functional Nokia 3310; it's not a SIM problem or a location issue, the other one connects to the network in an instant.
What can I do to make this little device functional again? Is there some unknown trick that could bring it back to life?

Try to see if there is a manual network selection option in the settings.

It's done and it doesn't change anything. Thanks anyway.

When I search for the network manually, it spins for a while then displays "no network found."

Test the search in another place (if it's just at your home, he might have trouble getting back into the swing of things).

Yes, I know very well, that's what I'm looking for. A basic phone without internet. When I talk about network, I mean the telephone network. I can't send or receive calls and/or texts.
