Hello,
Do you know if we can change a Nokia 3310 to French while it is in English?

You have been in:
- Menu
- Category Settings (menu 6)
- Category Phone Settings (menu 6.2)
- Category Language (menu 6.2.1)

If you can't find French, maybe you need to reset it? Put it back to 0.

You go to the Settings category (menu 6) and under category 6.4 Restore factory settings.

There they ask you for a code. If you don't know it or if you don't have it, it's normally 12345.

Otherwise, I know a phone repair shop, I'll give you its number:
HIFI COMMUNICATION:

tel 01.45.94.09.83

I don't know where you live, but it’s located in the Pincevent Carrefour shopping center in Chennevières-sur-Marne (94430)

Hoping to help you, maybe see you later.

Hello,

I’m here to give you a solution for your problem. Have you gone to:
Menu
Category Settings (menu 6)
Category Phone Settings (menu 6.2)
Category Language (menu 6.2.1)
There you select French and confirm.

I have another problem. Indeed, I don’t have category 13 in the menu. I checked the phone manual on the website www.maisondugsm.com, and it states "this menu only appears if it is supported by your SIM card. Its name and content depend on the available services.”

I don’t know what to do. I found a place in the Settings category (menu 6) and under category 6.4 Restore factory settings. But it’s asking for a security code. However, I don’t have this code because it is a phone I bought at a flea market.

Thank you for your help.

Fabien

I just went to the nokia.fr website and saw a question about the PUK code with the number 12345. That's what I did and it worked, but my menu 13 has not reappeared. I'm going to call my operator.

So,
I haven't heard back. I'm giving you the solution and you don't even respond to my question?

Fabien.

For CINDY, the speaker FABCASTOR is right, I have 4 Nokia 3310s. I did the 2 maneuvers he told you to do, and you inevitably end up in French. And as FABCASTOR told you, you reset it; you're asked for a security code and you type 12345. These are excellent quality phones; they are heavy, but compared to current Nokias, these latter are lighter. If you want, I can sell you an unlocked 3310; just let me know how much you want to pay! On eBay before Christmas, these phones were sold for 50 euros, but in Orange, SFR stores, etc., they say that these models are worthless; their goal is to make numbers, and they know that young people like to change phones, so they take advantage of that. I saw a recent movie on TV, and I saw one of the actors with a 3310. I told my children, "You see, it's a sturdy model, not bad at all regarding aesthetics." Happy New Year. Best regards.

Hello, the wind is rising,

First of all, I wish you a happy new year 2008. I'm writing you this message to thank you for your compliments on my indications.

It really touches me that someone appreciates my "work."

By the way, I saw that you're selling ports. I don't know where you live, but I have a 3310 port that I don't use and a few accessories such as

- SAMSUNG T100 charger
- NOKIA 3310 case
- original 3310 shell
- MOTOROLA V525 charger + 2 V525 cases

Would you be interested in me giving you this and you paying me for what you sell?

Otherwise, I will take this to a store in Créteil (94) called CASH CONVERTERS at the Pompadour shopping center. I don't make much from it, but I'll get rid of what I want.

I might see you soon.

Hello,

First of all, happy and prosperous New Year 2008 to you!
Where did you see that I have things for sale?
I don't remember!
Do you have MSN? Because it would be easier to talk, right?!

This message is not for you. If you look closely, I said "hello, the wind is rising."

It's not a big deal.

But if you still want to exchange our addresses, no problem.

Here is mine:

fab_nanou@msn.com

See you soon on the site or on msn, who knows.
