PC slowdown issue and Office software bug

Hello everyone,

My PC is running Windows 10 and for some time now I’ve noticed some slowdowns in my programs’ execution and especially several bugs in Office (Word and Outlook), forcing me to reinstall the software.

I use CCleaner to regularly clean my PC, but I think I must have quite a bit of “junk”...

Could someone help me take stock and remove unwanted programs?

Thank you in advance

Have a good evening

    Hello/Good evening,

Here is the procedure to follow. On the blue links, you will find explanatory tutorials with all the details to follow the steps.

    1)
    First check the hard drive:
How to check the health of the hard drive
    With CrystalDiskInfo
    - Download CrystalDiskInfo
The status should be blue; otherwise, it’s not a good sign.
More explanations: CrystalDiskInfo: Check the health status of the hard drive.

    2)
Install "Real Temp" or "Coretemp" to monitor the computer’s temperature.
See how high the computer’s temperature rises during use. It should not exceed 60 degrees Celsius. If possible, attach a screenshot of the software in the message.

    3)
To check your computer for possible infections and to get an overall system status:
Follow the FRST tutorial by clicking this blue link. (take the time to read carefully – everything is well explained).
Download and run the FRST scan,
WAIT FOR THE END OF THE SCAN, it lasts several minutes.
A message will indicate that the analysis is complete.

Three FRST reports will be generated:
    - FRST.txt
    - Shortcut
    - Additionnal.txt

Send these 3 reports to the site https://pjjoint.malekal.com/ and in return provide the 3 pjjoint links that lead to the reports here in a new response so that we can review them.

*(The blue links lead to step-by-step tutorials, click them to get more precise instructions to follow).*

    Nothing unusual.

    Uninstall CCleaner
    It’s good for nothing.

    ~~

Strange on a PC with 68 GB of RAM.

Is it Office that’s slow? In Task Manager, no abnormal CPU or memory usage?

    ~~

Manually install the Windows 2004 update with the update assistant or Media Creation Tool.
Follow these tutorials step by step:

    Hello,

No virus or other parasite software then?

Yes, mainly Office that crashes. Lately Word displayed an error message at launch
"Microsoft Word: Rejected Safe Mode action: Word is having problems with the add-in 'udcofficeaddin9.addin'. If the problem persists, disable this add-in and check for updates."

We can find this mention in the text file of the first link
    https://pjjoint.malekal.com/files.php?id=20200922_d12e14o7k12f13

Maybe the problem is essentially related to Office and not to an infection?

No virus either. You can try to repair Office as well, see: https://www.malekal.com/reparer-microsoft-office/ and then update Windows 10 afterward.
