Letters reversed in video

Hello,

I received a video but when I try to play it with my VLC media player this is what it looks like attached

How can I fix this problem please?

    Hello,

    If it's just to read in the right direction with VLC: Tools --> Effects and Filters --> Video Effects --> Geometry --> Check Transformation --> Set Horizontal Flip.

    After that, it might just be the VLC player doing this, so try it with another player to test.

    Then, if you want the change to be permanent, you need to use software capable of performing the modification on the video, that is to say, horizontally flipping it.
    You can do it with editing software, like the free VSCD Free Video Editor (Video Effect --> Transformation --> Flip) or OpenShot or ShotCut, etc.
    Other software like Avidemux (Filter --> horizontal flip) or XMedia Recode also allow it.

    Actually, I did everything you told me, but it was still the same.
    Everything returned to normal when I unchecked transformation.
