Bootable USB drive El Capitan

Unfortunately, I also tried following this tutorial and the problem remains the same... Without double-clicking on this installation file, I can't create the file "Install OS X El Capitan" in the applications folder and therefore my command in the terminal can't find anything :/

In this tutorial, there is no need to double-click on the InstallMacOSX.dmg file but only to run a command from the Terminal.

Once El Capitan is downloaded, a window like this one opens:


Do not touch it!!

Just check for the existence of the application "Install OS X El Capitan" in the Applications folder.
If that is the case and you have prepared your USB drive, then you run the command line from the Terminal and wait:
sudo /Applications/Installer\ OS\ X\ El\ Capitan.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/elcapitan --applicationpath /Applications/Installer\ OS\ X\ El\ Capitan.app --nointeraction

Replace the part "elcapitan" (in bold in the command) with the name you have given to your USB drive or rename your USB drive to "elcapitan"
Note the double hyphens in front of each option: --volume and --applicationpath and --nointeraction

So I downloaded El Capitan via this link: http://updates-http.cdn-apple.com/2019/cert/061-41424-20191024-218af9ec-cf50-4516-9011-228c78eda3d2/InstallMacOSX.dmg

But no window opens directly and nothing is added to the applications folder...

question: why not do this from the Mac running macOS X Lion?

I've never had any issues with this utility.
Now, I'm thinking about something; you're downloading El Capitan from a Mac that doesn't support it because it's too recent, so it's possible that your "installer osx el capitan.app" file can't be pending in your Applications folder, hence the problem with Diskmaker, which must provide that file path for creating the drive.
Just a simple assumption
In that case, you just need to choose another location for the file. Be sure to check the tutorial carefully.

First of all, thank you all for looking into my issue... I'll detail step by step what’s happening on my Mac to show you what the problem is!

Step 1: Install El Capitan via the App Store
First issue, we can't find it anymore on the App Store! So I went through Apple's website (link: https://support.apple.com/fr-fr/HT211683) which offers me to download the file "InstallMacOSX.dmg". Up to this point, I think it's good

Step 2: El Capitan download application
This is where the problem lies! Once the 5 GB is downloaded, I end up with this window that opens:



If I click on the file present in this window, I end up in a deadlock with the error message that appears. From what I've seen in the various tutorials, I shouldn’t even click on this file! The next window should appear (which is not the case):



So I've tried several things (that didn't work):
- Place the file in "Applications" and use the terminal command
- Use Diskmaker and select the file
