Hello,
it's impossible to configure the answering machine function of a Swissvoice 2155. The icon on the base is lit. The icon on the handset is visible. Problem: messages are not being recorded on the device. After several attempts, we see the number of calls and upon checking the messages: still 0 messages. The caller has confirmation that their message is recorded.
Last attempt, by pressing OK while the caller leaves a message, it is possible to secretly listen to the message which however does not get recorded.
What can we do, we just bought this phone from France Telecom.

Bought from France Télécom ???? France Télécom has not existed since July 2013, it's Orange now.
That being said, how is your answering machine set up (Response delay)?

Note: a good setting is 4 rings, otherwise your operator's voicemail will pick up (after 5 rings) and record any messages.
Very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
Especially when it's not there...-
Thank you for your response. You are absolutely right about the operator. It's a pity that this specific feature regarding the number of rings isn’t mentioned in the manual. My father, who is 90 years old, will finally have a working phone thanks to you. He will go back to the agency to have it set up.
