Voicemail not working on ALCATEL XL585 duo

Hello,

I bought an Alcatel xl585 duo phone and I'm unable to activate the voicemail recorder. It doesn't take messages. After several unsuccessful attempts, please let me know the procedure to follow.
I downloaded the manual and followed the instructions but nothing works.

    Good evening,
    Thank you for your response.
    I followed your advice and set the ringtones to 4. As a result, the answering machine is activated and the message is recorded. It's wonderful.
    I think this could be mentioned somewhere in the manual (which I had downloaded) to avoid this kind of inconvenience.
