Hello everyone,

Mum's phone receives calls without ringing. The screen lights up, displays the caller's number but doesn't ring. I checked the ringtone settings, and it's set to the maximum.

PS: I don't know if it's related, but there's a logo on the screen that I can't find in the manual. It's under the battery logo (top right) and represents a house with a coat of arms with 4 squares (2 black and 2 white).

A big THANK YOU for helping me to make the phone ring again.

    Hello again,

    and a big thank you for this quick response.

    The phone is not behind a box.

    There is no other handset.

    When I call from my mobile, it doesn’t ring, but the screen shows my call.

    There is nothing else on the line, no gadgets.

    I will try with another phone tomorrow afternoon.

    Thanks again. (This morning I really struggled with the paper manual and then the one in pdf)

    Hello,

    The logo is a symbol of unwanted or malicious calls. And the absence of ringing could be an interception by your BOX or the internet provider that has flagged these suspicious numbers.

    There are also SIP numbers coming from ??? that do not comply with the electrical signal protocol of the country... consequence: it doesn't ring, but it lights up the dial...

    However, we should find out more...

    Is it a phone behind a BOX..?? Which BOX (brand and model) is the provider..?? Are there any other gadgets connected to the phone line..??

    If you call this line with your smartphone, does it ring..??

    Are there several handsets...?? and none of them ring..??

    If you plug in another phone... is it different..??

    Hello,

    It would be good to check the "Blacklist" of this device and see if the numbers listed there.

    Have they been placed there deliberately or inadvertently (thinking they were adding to the directory)

    See the manual, pages 33 to 35

    It's very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
    Especially when it’s not there...
