Hello,
I have had an HP Envy 4507 printer for years that has been satisfactory.
This morning I have an urgent document to print, the cartridges are not empty, they were installed a few weeks ago, but this time the printer says "Incompatible cartridges," which is obviously not the case.
What can I do?
Thank you in advance for your help.

re
I changed the cartridges, aligned the heads, and it works.
It's not easy to know about the cartridges (good or defective)
Now we need to find out if this is the sign of the printer's impending death because a malfunctioning cartridge might indicate that the problem comes from it, but both at once...
I presume you changed both cartridges at the same time
Personally, I would test the "defective" cartridges one by one to see which one is truly defective
I don't think the printer is at the end of its life for such a minor issue

Thank you very much! I tried what was described and it doesn't work any better.
So I changed the cartridges, aligned the heads, and it works.
Now the question is whether it's a sign of the printer's imminent death, because a malfunctioning cartridge might indicate that the problem comes from it, but both at the same time...

re
Yes, I changed both cartridges (since the problem was reported for both).
Okay, the ink might have been dry...
