I'm calling for your ALERTNESS, I got trapped by a silly message like that on my phone, which said "mom call me back," with a 4-digit number to call. Worried, I thought what is this thing? But in doubt, not knowing if my daughter had a problem, I called the number; nothing happened, I immediately realized I had been scammed but I was thinking more about being charged for a text message, nothing more. However, it seems that through this code, they accessed my line, and my bill right after was 628 euros!!!!!!!!!
I am with Orange; I canceled my service, sent registered letters, etc. to alert them, but they never wanted to hear anything and also refused to conduct an investigation (it costs them money). They canceled my line and are asking for the 2 years' subscription fees on top of that!!! A staggering sum; then they sent collection letters and then a bailiff, I'm getting help from UFC Que Choisir who advises me to file a complaint.... so please be very careful with these texts that should be banned and hunted down by the telecommunications regulatory authorities!
