    Hello,

Why pay for editing software when there are free programs available that are quite good, like Shotcut, OpenShot, or VSCD for example?
Windows 10 even includes an editing app in Photos or via Start --> Video Editor.
From the reviews I've read here and there, this software seems quite simple and basic, so don't expect too much from it (for instance, the export options are very limited)... but that's just my opinion of course.
Lastly, the application doesn't seem to have a proper support system, as there is no help forum, and nowhere to ask questions on their site... or elsewhere.

Look, the support on the website of the editor of this application: http://moviemaker.support/
However, I haven’t seen, despite the screenshots, where to change the aspect of the image in the project for a particular video.
Then, with the conversion tool, maybe you have the option to set your video to 16:9 before integrating it into your project? But even for that, free conversion software can do it....

On the other hand, for Photos, that seems possible. It happens under Layout --> “cropping” apparently, if I’ve watched this video correctly (it’s at the very beginning, very quickly, around the 12th second): https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=12&v=TpvObX9FMX4&feature=emb_logo

    Best regards

Hello, I didn't know that Mowie Maker was for sale. That being said,
it is impossible to use a 4/3 file converted to a 16/9 ratio as it distorts the image, stretching it in width. You need to keep the 4/3 ratio, with the original resolution of 720x576.

Hello and thank you for giving your opinion.
On one hand, the latest version of Movie Maker 2020 for Windows 10 is paid in PRO version. The FREE version exists.
On the other hand, it's because a video is "flattened" that I want to stretch the image.
If you have an idea, I thank you in advance.

Hello, at a glance, if you have a video that seems flattened, it's probably a 4:3 video (720x576). If this video has been finalized in 16:9, I don't see how to change it to do the opposite.
