How to set my Pinnacle project to 16:9?

Hello,

I have been using Pinnacle version 12 plus for quite some time, but it's starting to act up.

When I go to project preferences, I select 16/9 (and my capture is already in 16/9 as I have an HD camcorder that is configured this way).

I can't change the image format because it is grayed out as soon as I start my project.

I don't know what to do anymore... this has never happened to me before; no matter how many times I set it to 16/9, it keeps reverting to 4/3!

Do you have a solution?
Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 3.6.3

Here it's very simple; when it’s gray, just perform scene detection, and only then can we set it to 16:9.

      Sure.
Anyway, I have the same problem, if I have any updates... ;)

I found the solution!!! And it really makes it 16:9! The trick is that you first do your normal editing in 4:3, so far, everyone here knows how to do that ;) .
Then you create your video which is then saved on your computer in your Video folder. From there, in Pinnacle, you take the film you just created and put it on the timeline, then you grab the video toolbox, click on the second icon from the bottom. There you will have a frame of your video that you can shape or distort like in an image in Word. So in conclusion, even if it’s not quite 16:9, you can easily achieve it by eye, and I find it more pleasant to watch a video that you've shaped yourself :p

If you didn't understand, sorry, it's 9 in the morning and I’m supposed to be on vacation ^^'

I forgot to say, don't forget to go full screen! when you are in the "Image Overlay" effect
