Hello, do you think that as a question it's a bit short
I remind you that those who answer you are neither fakirs nor mediums
tired of asking for a minimum of basic elements I copy this text as a preamble when necessary, don't ignore my advice make an effort and respond:
How to know the power of your computer which is "essential" for HD editing of the new annoying video formats
so always provide the "configuration" of your computer:
The type of OS Windows XP, Seven, 8 or Mac 32 or 64 bits
the type of processor e.g.: Quad Core 2500K
    the RAM (4GB, 8GB)
for this go to "Control Panel", "System and Security" and "System"
the capacity of the hard drive in GB and its speed 5400 or 7200 RPM
    for this right-click on `C: drive`, "Properties"
the type of graphics card, go to:
    "Device Manager"
One thing, make a summary of your "config" save it in a folder and when you have the request select it and automatically paste it in the post
And finally, provide the type of video hardware (brand, model if possible) that you use, the export format (e.g.: MPEG2, MP4) and the desired resolution (e.g.: HD 1920x1080) and what you expect from us as a response
    Best regards

    Hello
I am using Windows Vista...(Tour) 4 cores and enough memory for video.
Pinnacle 16 works...but..when editing the film at the start of the 2nd sequence...it shows BG Renderer has stopped working Windows will close the program...which it does immediately!

Hello, if you think your computer meets what I've listed to keep it simple, before any intervention on the delicate software reinstallation, please do a "system restore to a previous date" before the bug, it's risk-free.

I'm finally making slow progress... often recording between two interruptions..
Could the memories be simply insufficient!

..re..Piinnacle crashes less... I've emptied part of the film elements library from completed projects.... In the end, I think I lack memory... but also that the library is too large with projects that have remained after editing the films.....
The solution is a big cleanup after backing up to the external hard drive... thank you for your help

    Hello,

When Pinnacle crashes and bg renderer stops working, I press CTRL+ALT+DELETE and close br renderer. It immediately unlocks Pinnacle.
